About your host Will Taylor
I grew up here and I know secret wild spots and stories about Austin that most don't. I've been a professional violinist and Austin music icon for over 20 years. I've played with folks such as Willie Nelson, Pearl Jam, Gary Clark Jr., and more. I'm a lover of the outdoors and the magic of bringing people into nature for life-changing moments of connection and musical bliss. I have been a concert presenter of 18 years.
What we’ll do
6-645 pm Guided Nature Walk
7-815 pm Slaid Cleaves Concert in the field as sun sets. Picnics welcome.
I'll take you on the only fiddle accompanied nature and acoustic music immersion experience currently in Austin with plant expert Chris Hyde of Natureversity followed by a concert at sunset in the field with Slaid Cleaves.

Reviews:
We had a very unique experience and ended up with a private date with the pair of hosts. We got to know each other and loved the led mediatiation and private concert. We loved the music, as we are music lovers and the knowledge of nature duing the hike. We brought our little pups along and they were very understanding and accomodating, stopping for rest and water and even brought us to a spot they could take a quick dip to cool off in the water. We loved it and recommend to others. It was a nice date night trying something new and different. - Missy
This was a unique and special trip through time and nature, away from the hustle and bustle of automobiles and ever present screen proliferation. It is a very beautiful park in itself, but even better when you add the wonderful music, in a timeless retreat from now to any point in history with string music, you lose track of time and get closer to nature. Will and Karen were great guides, knowledgeable and thoughtful, and very talented. - Vernon
Will took us on a musical journey in nature that was incredible and therapeutic. We had a small group and hiked along a trail that was fairly leveled due to one of the hiker’s physical condition. Along the way Will made sure all of us were taken care of and having a good time. We were later joined by another amazing musician/cellist Charles. The only downside to this trip is that whenever I’m hiking now I miss Will and his gang of musicians. I’ve been spoiled. Next time I will bring my teenage kids. - Cassandra
